Neighborhood Beautification Day
When: Saturday, May 14th, 10am to 2pm
Where: Three locations — see flyer below.
What: Roll up your sleeves this Saturday and join the Flatbush Development Corporation and neighbors as we clean up our community. See graffiti, or areas that need improvement? Want to host your own block clean-up party? We provide the supplies! To volunteer or suggest areas that could use some cleaning or beautifying, contact Anthony Finkel at AFinkel@fdconline.org

Church Avenue Street Fair — Kensington
When: Sunday, May 15th, 11am to 6pm
Where: Church Avenue, between East 2nd and East 3rd Streets
What: Join your neighbors for great food from local vendors, shopping and more. Activities for the entire family. Sponsored by the 66th Precinct Community Council.
How Much: FREE
Midwood Sidewalk Sale
When: Sunday, May 15th, 11am to 5pm
Where: Avenue J, Avenue M, and Coney Island Avenue (between avenues I and J)
What: Local businesses will provide special offers and savings.

Free Yoga Classes All Month
When: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (5 to 5:45pm)
Where: Family of Light Holistic Center, 717 Coney Island Avenue (near Cortelyou Road)
What: We are offering totally free 45-minute yoga classes until June 1st. They are very beginner-friendly and meant to give new yogis a taste of what we do at the studio.
