With the strong chance of rain every night for the next few days, we’ve picked a few fun indoor events happening around the neighborhood — from trivia to comedy, plus one hopeful outdoor chance to dance on Wednesday night, because fingers crossed the wet weather has moved on by then. Can’t Stand Trivia
When: Monday, July 14, 8pm
Where: The Gate, 321 5th Avenue
What: There’s a chance not only to win booze, but also wings from Bonnie’s. The only catch, of course, is that you’ve got to win — so assemble your smartest (and least hungry) friends, stat.

Game Of Thrones Trivia
When: Tuesday, July 15, 8pm
Where: Tea Lounge, 837 Union Street
What: Hodor! Hodor Hodor, Hodor. Hodor?
How much: Free, but first-come, first-served, so arrive early.

Nick Turner And Acquaintances
When: Tuesday, July 15, 8:30pm
Where: Union Hall, 702 Union Street
What: An evening of standup, sketches, plenty of confusion, and maybe even a video or two, featuring guests Todd Barry, Brooks Wheelan, Jason Saenz, Nick Vatterott, Steve O’Brien, and Weezer cover band The Undone Sweaters.
How much: $8 available in advance.

Plaza Swing Series: Queen Esther And The Hot 5
When: Wednesday, July 16, 6:30pm
Where: Central Library, Central Plaza, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: Queen Esther’s warm and powerful voice glides through jazz and swaggers through the blues, perfect for dancing! Dance lessons are at 6:30pm, and the band starts at 7pm. (In case of rain, the event will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 6:30pm.)

Ask Me Another
When: Wednesday, July 16, 7:30pm
Where: The Bell House, 149 7th Street
What: The NPR quiz show, hosted by Ophira Eisenberg, is recorded live, and this episode will feature special guest Lev Grossman, Time magazine book critic and author of The Magicians.
How much: $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
