Watch Out For No Parking & Closed Roads For August Block Parties In Park Slope
We are in the middle of block party season, which means a lot of fun with your neighbors — but also some hassles for parking and traveling around the area.
To give you a heads up, we’ll be rounding up a list of street closures for block parties each month this summer. July isn’t too busy, but there are still a few weekend dates to watch out for. With thanks to Community Board 6, here are the details:
August 15: 5th Avenue between Sterling Place and Dean Street (Summer Strolls)
August 16: 7th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues
August 22: 5th Avenue between Sterling Place and Dean Street (Summer Strolls)
August 23: Union Street between 4th and 5th Avenues

CB6 tells us they’re still working on some permits for the season, so this list may not be complete (we will update it if we get any more), so please keep an eye out for ‘no parking’ signs just in case.
