Watch For Earlier Hours At This Week’s PS 295 Market

Heads up, PS 295 Farmers Market fans. Thursday, June 26 is the last day of school, and since the kids have an early release, this week’s market will operate from 12pm to 2pm, instead of the usual 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

The market, run by the teachers, parents, and students of PS 295, was launched in 2013 and offers a vast array of produce grown in the school’s garden, but also features fruit and veg from Hector Perez of Jersey Farms, and fresh meats, dairy, honey, and more from the Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative.

Ready to stock up the kitchen? Juicy blueberries and Lacinato kale are at the ready to satisfy your locally grown cravings. That’s only the beginning, though! You can find a full list of available goodies below:
