This weekend, many recalled Angela “Big Ang” Raiola’s generous heart at her viewings and funeral service in Dyker Heights, before she was laid to rest.

Now The Dr. Oz Show has released a moving tribute to the”Mob Wives” star — who succumbed to throat and brain cancer at age 55 on February 18 — featuring an introspective moment between the matriarch and her  large brood. In the clip, Raiola’s two children, six grand children, and other assorted family members, share one of their last family dinners together and talk to the camera the Big Ang the grandmother.

“I love my grandma, she makes us all laugh, she’s a great cook, and we all love her,” her granddaughter tells the camera.

Two days before she died, on February 16, Raiola’s final television interview aired on the Dr. Oz Show. We saw a more serious side of the fun-loving grandmother, as she opened up about learning that the throat cancer she had beat the first time around was back with a vengeance.

“It’s shocking what happened,” a visibly shaken Ang told Dr. Oz. “First I thought I was cancer free. I was going to have a big celebration, have a party. And then the next month, it was stage four.”

Despite the fact that she was struggling with the diagnosis, Raiola had come on the show to talk about the difficulties of living with cancer and to encourage others to quit smoking.

“Sometimes I think I’m going to be fine and sometimes I don’t think I am,” she said.
