Santé! Le Paddock Lands A Liquor License
Le Paddock liquor license

While neighbors have been able to sip on wine and beer at Le Paddock (1235 Prospect Avenue), the restaurant has just been granted a liquor license, and, as of Saturday, it has been serving up such cocktails as the Brooklyn rye and the watermelon martini.

We stopped by Le Paddock last night and tried their spicy “marguerita,” which included Corralejo tequila, pomegranate juice, jalapeno, and lime – and it hit the spot on a super humid night. It was even worth sprinting home in the downpour sans umbrella.

They have a number of new cocktails (the joint previously served some cocktails with soju – a South Korean rice liquor), including the cilantro mojito (Barnabcourt rum, cilantro, lime, and sparkling wine), Out of Thyme (Plymouth gin, grapefruit juice, thyme, and peppercorn syrup), and Gin Gin (Plymouth gin, Campari, Bruce Cost fresh ginger ale, and lime).

Le Paddock got a liquor license

Reviewers have often given Le Paddock great reviews on Yelp, though people have noted that they didn’t have a liquor license – so, dear cocktail consumers, now’s your chance to clink cocktails and say cheers!
