Volunteers at Armory Needed Tonight and Tomorrow

The Armory YMCA (15th Street between 7th and 8th Aves), which is acting as a backup medical shelter for Hurricane Sandy evacuees, is looking for volunteers for today’s evening shift. If you’re interested, please stop by the armory this evening around 7pm or, if you’re interested in helping tomorrow, around 8am in the morning.

Just as a reminder, John Jay has received an outpouring of support from the community and is no longer accepting clothing donations. Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help our neighbors in need!
