Violent iPhone Mugging on 13th Street and 7th Ave

Park Slope Patch reports that on January 28, a 26-year-old woman was robbed of her iPhone while walking on 13th Street.

The 26-year-old victim told police that she was walking westbound on 13th Street at Seventh Avenue at around 8 p.m. when two black men in their 20s started following her. One crook, described as standing 6-foot-2, weighing approximately 200 lbs. and wearing blue jeans and a black snow hat, ran up from behind, pushed her to the ground and grabbed her iPhone out of her hands. The other crook, described as standing 5-foot-10 and wearing a gray snow hat, pushed her back to the ground and then they both ran, jumped into a grey sedan with NY plates, and drove away.
