Unknown Gunman Fired Shots At The Social Butterfly, Say Cops

An unidentified gunman opened fire in a packed club and the NYPD is seeking help in identifying him.

A man walked into the Social Butterly on 857 Atlantic Avenue at about 3:30 Saturday morning and shot twice at the ceiling before heading outside and to fire once more, according to police.

Fortunately, nobody was injured in the commotion.

The NYPD is asking everyone to do their part in identifying the unknown man.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
