Two South Slope Summer Strolls Will Close 5th Ave To Cars, Open It To Pedestrians
The Park Slope 5th Avenue Business Improvement District is hosting two nights of fun along 5th Ave with South Slope Summer Strolls.
Two Fridays, July 19 and 26, from 5-9 pm, 5th Avenue between 12th and 18th Streets will be shut down to traffic (buses will be rerouted), and merchants will have the opportunity to provide outdoor seating, food, drinks, and merchandise to browse, right out to the curb. There will be family-friendly music, games, and entertainment in the street as well.
