Two Local Toy Drives Request Donations for Children

We heard from the Bay Improvement Group and Senator Marty Golden’s office requesting help for upcoming holiday toy drives. Next time you see a toy store, head on in and grab two extra little toys you would have liked to have as a kid. One of the toy drives includes a great, free concert (with celebrity headliners)! So, help brighten up a child’s life this holiday season and sing with the celebrities.

Here is the information for both drives:

From Senator Golden’s office for the US Marines Toys for Tots Foundation –

US Marines Toys for Tots foundation distributes millions of toys to needy children across the country and in Puerto Rico every holiday season. In New York City alone, Toys for Tots distributed over 300,000 toys in 2005 and their numbers increase every year.

I will be accepting donations until December 12th at my two offices located at 7408-5th Avenue in Bay Ridge and 3610 Quentin Road in Marine Park. I will also be collecting donations at my annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies (details to be announced).
