This week, a developer filed applications for a seven-story apartment building on a road already crowded with construction projects.

The 51-unit residential building filed at 323 Lenox Road between Nostrand and New York Avenues could rise 65 feet to its rooftop with apartments on every floor, according to YIMBY. The site would include a rooftop terrace and off-street parking for 21 cars.

The filing includes a request to merge the two lots — the site of two three-story homes — to build the seven-story apartment complex.

The site is adjacent to another construction project filed in 2014 — a 13-story housing development for low-income seniors.

Lenox Road has been bursting with development in recent years, adding to the densification and development boom in the Flatbush area. Some projects include a 12-story high-rise from Hello Living, a centennial home razed for apartment buildings last August, and another eight-story complex around the corner at 2100 Bedford Avenue, plus lots more.
