BUSHWICK – Another day, another development in North Brooklyn neighborhoods. As Bed-Stuy has the gaps in its streets filled in by new rental spaces, Bushwick isn’t far behind. At 61 Troutman Street, an empty lot will soon house a modern apartment building.

The building will have eight apartments, likely rentals, averaging just over 600 square feet, YIMBY reported. Developer Moshe Friedman is helming the project, which was designed by the BEAM Group.

Currently, 61 Troutman is just an empty lot (Screenshot via Google Maps)

The apartment is a modern design, using black brick in a herringbone pattern, with what appear to be gold or yellow accents. Three of the units will have small balconies off the front of the building.

The new building will be just a few blocks from the Myrtle JMZ stop and have easy access to the B54, B46 and B47 buses.
