TONIGHT: Jamaica Bay Task Force Meeting In Broad Channel

The Jamaica Bay Task Force will meet tonight, November 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, Crossbay Boulevard in Broad Channel, Queens.

The meeting will be devoted to a discussion about the scheduled marsh restoration projects in Jamaica Bay, oyster and eel grass introductions, and a DEC status report of JFK Airport Outfall permits.

The public is invited to attend and partake in the open discussion period and Q&A session.

The task force is a body of private citizens, scientists, and federal, state, regional, and local agency representatives that share a common interest in Jamaica Bay.
