The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) announced there are more than 200 open positions at the Coney Island Amphitheater, which has an exciting lineup scheduled for this summer.

“Not only will the Amphitheater at Coney Island bring arts, entertainment, and investment into the local economy – we’re also making sure it’s providing jobs for New Yorkers in the neighborhood,” NYCEDC President Maria Torres-Springer said in a press release.

The recruitment began on Monday and takes place daily at MCU Park from 10am to 4pm until Thursday April, 28. Walk-in applicants are welcome, though you can expedite the process by preregistering here.

Besides the jobs available at the amphitheater, the city is also looking to fill an additional 600-plus jobs at businesses in Coney Island, including Deno’s Wonder Wheel Park, Luna Park, Nathan’s Famous, and Ruby’s.

The recruitment effort is also supported by the Department of Small Business Services (SBS), the Alliance for Coney Island and Council Member Mark Treyger.

“Summer in Coney Island means fun in the sun for New Yorkers and visitors from across the globe, but it also means employment opportunities for residents of our community,” said Council Member Mark Treyger. “I believe strongly in the need to ensure that Coney Island’s amusement district serves the needs of Coney Island residents, as well as visitors.”
