Thursday Night: Tish James To Host “A Conversation On Inequality In Fort Greene”
With shiny new luxury condo developments, rising rents, rising shooting rates, struggling police-community relations, and too-few employment opportunities all occurring at the same time, Fort Greene public housing residents have a lot of questions and hopes. Public Advocate Letitia James and several local officials hope that this next in her series of town halls and community meetings will help address some of those concerns.
Tomorrow (Thursday, November 12) from 6-9pm at the Ingersoll Community Center at 177 Myrtle Avenue, James is hosting “A Conversation On Inequality In Fort Greene” entitled “Bridging The Divide.”
All are welcome — families of all ages, included — and dinner is included for participants.
