Thursday Crime Blotter: Cops Release Photos Of Suspected Crown Heights Killers And More

CROWN HEIGHTS – The NYPD has released photos of two men investigators are searching for in connection to the shooting death of a 32-year-old man last Saturday in Crown Heights.

Officers discovered John Barnes at approximately 1:40am on December 16 in the vicinity of  St. Johns Place and Schenectady Avenue with a gunshot wound to his head, according to police. EMS transported him to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

BROWNSVILLE – The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the below photo in connection to a recent robbery.

At approximately 2:20am on Sunday, December 17, police say that the suspect approached a 29-year-old man at the Livonia Avenue “L” subway station and demanded his money. When the victim said he didn’t have any cash, the suspect reportedly shoved the man against the wall and grabbed his wallet before fleeing the station. The victim lost $5 and two credit cards.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately in his 30s and 5′ 10″ tall. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater, black jeans, a dark colored knit cap, and black sneakers.
