This week’s #ThrowbackThursday photograph shows the elevated BMT Fifth Avenue line train station at Atlantic Avenue and Flatbush Avenue in the late 19th century. The station, located above what is now the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway stations, was built on November 5, 1888 and closed on May 31, 1940.
