Two burglaries in twenty minutes at two Myrtle Avenue businesses — that’s the case that police at the 88th Precinct are trying to crack.

At 4:20am on Sunday, April 10, three burglars broke into Five Spot Soul Food (459 Myrtle Avenue) through the side door and stole four cash drawers of money, an undetermined amount.

They suspects them made their way over to Wray’s Caribbean and Seafood Cuisine (503 Myrtle Avenue) and, at 4:40am, broke into a cellar door to steal $160 of cash from a drawer.

The three suspects are described from surveillance footage as black men in their 20s, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, dark jackets, and dark pants.
