This Week’s F & G Subway Changes
As you get back to the Monday grind, here are the scheduled F and G subway changes you’ll need to keep an eye on this week. Details via the MTA:
Starting Monday:
G trains run every 20 minutes
Late evenings, beginning 11pm, Monday, July 21 to Thursday, July 24
No F trains between Roosevelt Avenue and 21 Street-Queensbridge
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25
F service operates in two sections: one, between 179 Street and Roosevelt Avenue and two, between 21 Street-Queensbridge and Stillwell Avenue. There will be free shuttle buses operating between Roosevelt Avenue and Queensboro Plaza, stopping at 65th Street, Northern Boulevard, 46th Street, Steinway Street, 36th Street, and Queens Plaza.
Remember unscheduled changes can occur, so be sure to check the MTA’s website before heading out.
