This Week’s F & G Subway Changes
Ditmas Avenue F subway stop

Once again, we won’t have the G train between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets and Church Avenue late at night from today through Friday. That and other changes via the MTA:

Starting Monday:

No G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets and Church Avenue
Late nights, 11:30pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, until October 31
No G service at Bergen Street, Carroll Street, Smith-9 Streets, 4 Avenue-9 Street, 7 Avenue, 15 Street-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Parkway, and Church Avenue. Take the F instead. G service operates in two sections: one, between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and two, between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets.
F trains run local in both directions between 21 Street-Queensbridge and 71 Avenue
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, October 27-31
Trains stop at 36 Street, Steinway, 46 Street, Northern Boulevard, 65 Street, Roosevelt Avenue, Elmhurst Avenue, Grand Avenue, Woodhaven Boulevard, 63 Drive, and 67 Avenue.

Starting Wednesday:

F trains run every 20 minutes between Avenue X and Stillwell Avenue; trains from Manhattan skip Avenue U
Days, 10:30am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, October 29-31
Service will operate in two sections: one, between 179 Street and Avenue X and two, between Avenue X and Stillwell Avenue. For service to Avenue U, take the F to Avenue X, where it will become a Jamaica-bound F. For service from this station, take the F to Kings Highway and transfer to an Avenue X-bound F. Also, from Avenue U, you can take the B3 bus to the Avenue U Q station, where Coney Island-bound service is available.

Remember, unscheduled changes can occur, so be sure to check the MTA’s website before heading out.
