This Week’s B & Q Subway Service Changes

Here’s hoping your commutes the rest of this week are far better than this morning, when B and Q trains were all screwed up because of switch problems at DeKalb.

On top of ongoing closures at the Manhattan-bound Cortelyou, Beverley, and Parkside stations, the B train is getting FastTracked this week and Avenue H-ers and Midwood neighbors are out of luck on Tuesday. Details on this week’s service changes via MTA.info:

Astoria-bound Q trains skip Avenue M, Avenue J, and Avenue H
Mornings/afternoons, 9:45am-3pm, Tuesday, September 17
For service to these stations, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B or Coney Island-bound Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Kings Hwy and transfer to an Astoria-bound Q.
B service ends early
Evenings, Monday, September 16 to Thursday, September 19
The last 145th St-bound B train leaves Brighton Beach at 9:06pm, and the last Brighton Beach-bound train leaves 145th St at 9:23pm.
