This Week’s B & Q Subway Changes
Happy unofficial fall, everyone! On the subway front this week, the B train will, once again, be running local from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park, and the Coney Island-bound Q will be running express (both as of Wednesday). Details via the MTA:
Starting Wednesday:
145 Street-bound B trains run local from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, until September 12
Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Sheepshead Bay
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, until September 12
Trains stop at Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza, and Kings Highway. For service to Parkside Avenue, Beverley Road, Cortelyou Road, Avenue H, Avenue J, Avenue M, Avenue U, and Neck Road, take the Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza, Kings Highway, or Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Kings Highway, Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue, or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
