We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open houses happening in Ditmas Park on Sunday. Any thoughts on these places?

CONDOS & CO-OPS

415 Argyle Rd., #4F
List Price: $325,000, $649.95 maintenance, via Brooklyn Hearth
Size: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom
Details: Close to the Tot Lot and, well, everywhere else on Cortelyou, this 1 bedroom with “potential to convert to two smaller bedrooms with separate entrances” could be a great first purchase for a young family who prefers location to square footage. Parking, in-building laundry, and bike storage are available, there’s a common outdoor space, and cats are allowed–and, our neighbor who is moving out of the unit so that it can be sold (and is on the hunt for a 1-2 bedroom rental with a porch/backyard in the neighborhood, if you know of anything!) says it’s a great building and fabulous apartment that she’ll be sad to leave.
Open House: Sunday, June 2, 1:30-3pm

702 Ocean Parkway, #5A
List Price: $475,000, $587 common charges, via Douglas Elliman
Size: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
Details: Right down the street from the 70th Precinct, this unit has a private keyed elevator entrance and upgrades like granite countertops in the open kitchen. Add to that a private terrace, a washer and dryer, and the impending opening of Milk & Honey, and you’ve got yourself a sweet little spot.
Open House: Sunday, June 2, 2:15-3:15pm

346 Coney Island Ave., #606
List Price: $875,000, $620 common charges, via Corcoran
Size: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
Details: This place overlooking Prospect Park is certainly sleek and modern, but that price tag is a rough one. The unit boasts a fancy kitchen, terrace, jacuzzi in the master bath, and washer and dryer, and the doorman building has rooftop access, a gym, and a play room for kids. Pretty as it may be, though, it’s hard not to think, Isn’t that nearly the price of a house?
Open House: Sunday, June 2, 12-1:30pm

HOUSES

2419 Glenwood Rd.
List Price: $925,000, via Brooklyn Properties
Size: 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, plus a doctor’s office downstairs
Details: This property near Brooklyn College is odd, but intriguing–and it’s been on the market for nearly two months. The main living area has beautiful parquet flooring and an incredible marble mantel, while the doctor’s office downstairs has a separate entrance and includes three exam rooms, a half bath, and a workspace. The unfinished basement and attic could use some work, which could be a financial downside or a chance to make the home exactly the way you want it. Would you use the downstairs as is, or expand for some more bed and bath space?
Open House: Sunday, June 2, 12:30-2pm
