This Weekend’s Open House Picks

Here’s the weekly roundup of open houses around the neighborhood. What do you think?

HOUSES

• The house at 745 Westminster Road (pictured above) is on the market for $1.395 million. Corcoran says it boasts original details, a large new kitchen, front and back gardens 8-foot basement ceilings and more. It’s located on a nice strip on Westminster, full of big Victorians, bigger trees and a five minute walk from two Q and B subway stations.
Open house: Sunday, September 16, 12-1:30pm

• Just across the street, 758 Westminster Road remains on the market. The price has risen to $1.025 million, a slight increase from the $999,999 it was at last month. Previously represented by Kestyn and Mary Kay Gallagher, the house is now listed by Corcoran. Less appealing to green thumbs than its neighbor at 745, it should be noted that the house is slightly larger and costs almost $400,000 less.
Open house: Sunday, September 16, 2-3:30pm

• Just a few minutes north is 630 Westminster Road, on the market for $967,000. Two families (but not a freestanding house), three stories and “a whole lotta house” as described by Elliman.
Open house: Saturday, September 15, 1-3pm
