This Weekend’s Open House Picks
We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open house listings in and around Bensonhurst that are coming up this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

Details: This two-family in Bath Beach, which the listing notes will be delivered vacant, has apparently been recently renovated, with new kitchens and bathrooms, plus updated electrical and plumbing systems. One side of the home is nuzzled squarely up to a three-story apartment building — close quarters for some, inspiration for others, as the realtor points to “1,537 SF of Unused Air Rights,” meaning you could build up, if you so chose.

Size: Three-family
Details: This detached three-family home has been on the market since July, when it was originally listed for $1.3M. No takers yet, and the price keeps dropping — though the listing says they’re looking for cash buyers. There are no photos of the inside, though, so who knows what that cash is getting — the listing also specifies it’s being sold “as-is.” Still, it’s a short walk to the D at 18th Ave and shopping along 86th Street, so maybe someone out there will be able to make this work for them (and their wallet).

List Price: $575,000, common charges $145
Size: Two bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: The listing on the realtor’s site differs from this one, which is the one we’ll go with because it seems more recent (and it’s cheaper). The recently built condo has fairly conservative touches, but it’ll do for the price, and you can always add your own flair to the blank slate. It’s a short walk to the D at 25h Ave, as well as to all the corner slices (corner is always the correct answer) you can handle at L&B.
