This Weekend’s B & Q Subway Service Changes

As if the second phase of  local platform renovations wasn’t enough, even neighbors off express stops will find themselves either sticking around town this weekend, or else finding some other creative solution. Details on the forthcoming insanity via MTA.info.

All days, all times:

Coney Island-bound Q platforms at Parkside Avenue, Beverley Road, and Cortelyou Road are closed for renovation
All times, beginning 11:45pm Friday, February 21 until early Summer
For service to these stations, take the Q to Church Avenue or Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
For service from these stations, take the Q to Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.

Today through Friday only:

145 St-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday until March 21
Please allow additional travel time.
Coney Island-bound Q trains skip Avenues H, J, and M
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday until March 21
For service to these stations, take the Q to Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
Q trains are rerouted in Manhattan
Late nights, 10pm-5am Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7
Q service operates between Stillwell Avenue and DeKalb Avenue, and is rerouted as follows:
• Via the D between DeKalb Avenue and 47th-50th Streets
• Via the F to/from 57 Street

Friday night through the weekend:

No Q trains between Prospect Park and Stillwell Avenue
Weekend, 10:30pm Friday, March 7 to 5am Monday, March 10
Q service operates north of Prospect Park. D, F, and N trains and free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
Shuttle buses operate along two routes:
1. Local between Prospect Park and Kings Highway, making all Q station stops.
2. Limited between Prospect Park and Stillwell Avenue, stopping at the Flatbush Avenue 2 Station, Kings Highway, Avenue U, Neck Road, Sheepshead Bay, Brighton Beach, Ocean Parkway, and West 8th Street.
• Transfer between trains and buses at Prospect Park, Flatbush Avenue, West 8th Street, and Stillwell Avenue.
For direct service between Stillwell Avenue and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, take the D, F, or N.
• Transfer between D, N, and Q trains at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
• Transfer between D, F, N, and Q trains at 34th Street-Herald Square.
