This Week at the Cortelyou Greenmarket
It’s Labor Day weekend but Cortelyou Greenmarket is open tomorrow.
“Stock up on your favorite summer goods, there are plenty of tomatoes, corn, peppers, squash, cucumbers, beets, greens, peaches and apples. Stop by the info tent to taste an easy summer dish, and enter the raffle,” says Manager Samantha Blatteis.
And as always:
• Bring unwanted clothes and other textiles and/or food scraps for collection on the corner of Rugby and Cortelyou from 8am-1pm.
• For every five dollars you spend with your EBT card, you will receive a $2 Heatlhbucks coupon free for fruits and vegetables. WIC and FMNP checks are also gladly accepted at market.
• Avoid ticketing and towing by not parking on Cortelyou or Rugby Roads.
• Visit the info tent to use your debit, credit, or EBT cards.
