This weekend, you can ride the Q Train Queer Night at Sycamore, support local artists at a holiday art show, join Pilates on Cortelyou for an open house with German Christmas goodies and holiday gifts, go to a tree lighting (with caroling and free hot chocolate) on Church Avenue, drink beer and support affordable housing during a fundraiser for the Flatbush Tenant Coalition, watch an interactive production of The Nutcracker from Alden Moves, and lots more:

Thursday, December 4

The monthly Q Train Queer Night is at Sycamore, featuring music by DJ Gogo Gadget and performances by Handsom Petr and Puss-N-Boots, beginning at 8:30pm.
The John Pinamonti Band performs their American Roots music at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Friday, December 5

• Join the drop-in sing-alongs with Lloyd H. Miller at Lark Café, 10 & 11am.
• Adults are invited to the computer class at the Cortelyou Library, 11am.
• Come to Prospect Park’s Audubon Center for a free cardio toning class, 12pm.
• Meet fellow moms and dads at the New Parent Meet-Up, Lark, 1pm.
• Kids can attend Blooming Naturalists  at the Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 1-2pm Thursdays and Fridays.
• … followed by Nature on the Go, also at the Audubon Center, 2-3pm Thursdays and Fridays.
• Boys and girls ages 8 and up are invited to the creative writing group at the Cortelyou Library, 2:45-3:45pm.
• Learn about local wildlife at Animal Encounter, also at the Audubon Center, 3-4pm Thursdays and Fridays.
Happy hour with babies and ice cream happy hour are at Lark, 4pm.
• Drop-in sing-along with Andrew of Rolie Polie Guacamole at Lark Cafe ($10 per family), 4pm.

• Get your heart rate up and explore the neighborhood with Ditmas Rides, meeting in front of the Cortelyou Library at 7pm.
• Looking for a fun & safe environment for your child while you do your shopping, go out to dinner, or catch up with friends? Latin Fever will provide your child with fun-filled activities, games, movies and more. $35 for 2.5 hours and snacks or $15 for one hour. 7:30-10pm.
Bourbon Sprawl plays their country classics at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Saturday, December 6

• Lavender Blues Sing-Along at Lark Cafe, 10 & 11am.
• Get some holiday shopping done and support local artists at the Flatbush Artists Group’s annual holiday show Saturday and Sunday at 502 9th Street, 12-6pm.
• There’s Sahaja yoga meditation at the Cortelyou Library, 12:30-2pm.
Learn how the Dutch tradition of Sinterklaas has evolved into America’s Santa Clause at the Wyckoff House Museum, 1-4pm.
• Try some delicious food and drinks at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 2-8pm every Saturday and Sunday.
• Get into the holiday spirit at the Church Avenue BID’s tree lighting at the Flatbush Reformed Church, 5pm.
• It’s Brooklyn salsa time with Grupo Descarillao at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Sunday, December 7

• Check out all the fresh veggies, fruit, and more at the Cortelyou greenmarket (Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby), 8am-3pm.
• Get some holiday shopping done and support local artists at the Flatbush Artists Group’s annual holiday show at 502 9th Street, 12-6pm.
• Join Pilates on Cortelyou for an open house with German Christmas goodies and holiday gifts from local artists (including jewelry, prints/calligraphy, wallets, paintings & prints, pottery, tots clothes, scarves, and more). Special pilates packages will also be available. 12:30pm-5pm.
Drink beer and support affordable housing during a fundraiser for the Flatbush Tenant Coalition at Bar Chord, 3-5pm.
• Brooklyn-based theater group Dzieci will put on their 15th anniversary of Fool’s Mass at Church of the Nativity. All are welcome, including children, but please note the performers will be wearing masks. Suggested $10 donation. 4pm.
Alden Moves performs an immersive production of The Nutcracker at the East Midwood Jewish Center; advance tickets are available through tomorrow and cost $20 for adults and $15 for students, 5pm.
• Celebrate the 74th annual Candlelight Vespers at the “Evening of Vivaldi” at the Flatbush Tompkins Congregational Church, 5pm.
• Cortelyou Jazz Jam at Bar Chord, 9pm.
