The Yellow Dog Project and You

We know it’s tempting to let our dogs interact with all the other crazy cute pups in the neighborhood, but Animal Kind Veterinary Hospital (365 7th Ave) asks that you keep an eye out for yellow ribbons before approaching.

The Yellow Dog Project was organized to remind people that some dogs, whether recovering from surgery, dealing with other health issues, or are in training, need a little extra space.

So, if you see a yellow ribbon on another pet’s leash, please give enough room on the sidewalk for them to pass. Their owners, and the pups themselves, will appreciate it.
