Great news for fans of The Soup Bowl. The 7th Avenue pop up shop may be closing for the season on Friday, but owner Richard Gussoff has a new restaurant in the works at 237 9th Street (near 4th Avenue), set to open sometime at the end of March, or early in April.

Called Uncle Arthur’s Cafe, the restaurant will feature a number of Soup Bowl favorites (mmmmm…lobster butternut squash bisque), plus several dishes from Richard’s former Manhattan restaurants.

Be sure to check out the full interview with Richard on our sister site, Park Slope Stoop.
