Two Boots For Rent

The former Two Boots restaurant space at 514 2nd Street near 7th Avenue is up for rent, about six months after the owners announced the business, which had been there since 1989, was closing.

A ‘for lease’ sign recently went up outside, and as Here’s Park Slope first reported, the 4,000-square-foot space is currently listed at $16,000 per month.

At the time of the closure, owners Andy and Piper Wandzilak said they had plans to “conduct major renovations to the interior/exterior of the venue” and reopen with a new restaurant this spring. And though this space is now up for rent, and while Andy recently got a new gig as director of operations at Ample Hills Creamery, it sounds like they still hope to get back into running a restaurant soon.

“We are still looking to open a restaurant/bar and have hopes for a space that becomes available in October,” he wrote recently in a Facebook post.

We’ll be interested in seeing what they’ve got planned, and will be curious to see what might move into the old Two Boots space.
