Celebrate the Lunar New Year with your children this Friday at the PS 230 auditorium (425 McDonald Ave).

The Singing Winds kick off 2013, the Year of the Snake, with the puppet show The Lions and Dragons Dance. According to The Singing Winds website, the show will be:

narrated by fourth grade students at PS 230. This special evening of folktales and martial arts will introduce you to legends and traditional customs associated with this ancient celebration.

Doors open at 6:30pm for craft activities. A $2 suggested donation makes this event affordable for the entire family.
