Fred Siegel to Moderate Forum on the Intersection of Hollywood and Politics

Neighbor, professor and author Fred Siegel is once again moderating a provocative forum at St. Francis College on October 9 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The forum is free and open to the public. The event is centered on a conversation with screenwriter, novelist and editor Roger Simon (pictured left) about the intersection of Hollywood and politics including, yes, Clint Eastwood’s famous empty chair speech at this year’s Republican convention.

The forum will take place at St. Francis College in Bro. Edmund Holmes, O.S.F. ’28 Lecture Hall (Room 4202), 180 Remsen Street, Brooklyn Heights.

Fred Siegel is a Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, an influential conservative think tank. He’s moderated a number of forums at St. Francis including The Tension Between Catholic Schools & Charter Schools, What Happened to All the Good Men?, Is the New York Times Good for Democracy?, and Are the Tea Parties Good for New York?
