Thank You!

Thank You!

Mary and I are incredibly humbled and grateful to all of you for reading, for advertising, and for emailing us kind words of encouragement and thanks.

Ditmas Park Corner has been around for 2.5 months now, and over 10,000 of you visited us just in the last 30 days, a whooping 75% returning more than just a few times. We are grateful you find it useful, or fun, or both! We are grateful for your spreading the word of our the site by sharing our stories on Facebook and Twitter, for forwarding our newsletter to your friends. Because our success depends on you.

If you’d like to support us even more, please support these wonderful local businesses that support us and allow us to bring you news of neighbors, events, deals, and conversations that help us all make Ditmas Park an even better place to call home:

Ox Cart Tavern – Fabulous food, great service, chill – do we need to say more?
Flatbush Food Coop – Great, fresh food daily, and open till 11pm!
Pawsitive Veterinary – Dr. Courtney Perry and her staff are fabulous, and walking distance for all your pet needs!
• Urban Sitter – While not based in the neighborhood, offers a really great way to book your sitters (beats sending multiple text messages anytime!). Plus you can recommend your favorite sitter to neighbors, and see their rates and availability.
• Sycamore – A bar, a flower shop, a music venue… and an incredibly generous place.
Super Movers – They moved us to Ditmas Park, and moved us around Ditmas Park… Let them help you too!
Grace Eye Care – Dr. Widad Valme will take great care of your eyes. No need to go to Park Slope for a checkup!
• It’s A Dog’s World – Our neighborhood pet supply store on CIA just south of Beverley, home to Marion Weiner, local dog whisperer!
• Olive Design – Check out Mary Van Vliet’s website for a glimpse of the magic! Lamps, curtains, colors, rugs… she can really help.
• Stephane Bee – Our fabulous graphic designer, and yes, she will help you create an identity too!
Ditmas Workspace – The neighborhood co-working spot that keeps us sane!
We Play For The Gods – For reminding us what strong, creative women can accomplish – so proud of you!

We love this neighborhood of ours, and we love being able to bring you the serious, and the not so serious news. Thank you, neighbors, for reading and for supporting our advertisers by giving them your business.

If you know of a business that would benefit from advertising on this blog, please have them email Liena@ditmasparkcorner.com (and that graffiti up in the image is 100% going to be washed away by the rain by the time this post is up).
