Sweet Charity Alive And Well On The Web
Sweet Charity’s life as a brick and mortar store (located at 411 7th Avenue, between 13th and 14th Streets) has officially come to an end. The shop’s manager, Alison, confirmed the news via email on Monday.
“Due to high overhead costs,” she explained, “and the fact that the retail model is changing so drastically for businesses, small and large, we have made the difficult decision to close the physical location and focus on our website.
“After nearly 9 years in the neighborhood, it has been so sad to say goodbye to our dear friends and customers,” she continued, “but we are so grateful for and truly touched by the support we have received over the years. All we can say is stay tuned, visit our website, join us on Facebook, and get ready for some exciting new goodies (hopefully) coming this fall!”
While we’ll definitely miss the shop on 7th Avenue, it’s great to hear that the business, recently rebranded LIBRA, is here to say. Best of luck with the transition, Alison!
