Stolen Car Ends Up Crashed In Coney Island After Teenage Joy Ride

A car stolen from near the Brooklyn Navy Yard ended up crashed into a cement street median and parked cars in Coney Island on Saturday night, said police.

As first reported in the New York Daily News, police in Coney Island’s 60th Precinct followed the car as its drivers speeded down Surf Avenue near West 23rd Street, until it crashed at around 11pm. Police arrested a 14-year-old who was injured in the passenger seat, and are still searching for the teenage driver.
