Start Making Your Valentine’s Day Reservations
Couldn’t snag a spot at White Castle for Valentine’s Day? Fear not, for there are a number of fabulous options left right here in South Slope. Make your reservations soon, though, because these will be filling up fast.
Applewood

Applewood is offering a a six-course tasting menu, available with ($245 per couple) or without ($195 per couple) wine pairings. This completely candlelit evening is accepting reservations for parties of 2 only. Early seating is available from 5:30pm to 6:45pm, and late seating is available from 8:15pm to 9:30pm. Please note that there is a 48 hour cancellation policy for reservations, and reservations must be held with a Visa, Mastercard or Discover card.
Talde
369 7th Avenue, 347-916-0031
Talde’s cozy atmosphere is perfect for a little February romance. The local hotspot is offering a 3-course menu, for $60 per person. Reservations are accepted for all party sizes.
Thistle Hill Tavern

Right down the street, we find another inviting destination, Thistle Hill, who is also offering a 3-course menu, but it comes in a bit less than Talde, at $55 per person. Again, reservations are accepted for all party sizes.
Although they haven’t announced any special menus for the evening, it’s a safe bet that Lot 2, Fonda, and Giovanni’s Brooklyn Eats would also be hot tickets for Valentine’s Day dinner. We’ll keep you posted on any new events that we come across.
