Spirit Family Reunion Plays Celebrate Brooklyn Tonight
Local band Spirit Family Reunion is taking to the Prospect Park bandshell tonight for Celebrate Brooklyn, where they’ll be sharing a stage with Cahalen Morrison & Eli West and The Del McCoury Band–Del McCoury was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2011.
Even though it’s just up the road, this is an exciting step for the band that’s used to playing at the Cortelyou Greenmarket and The Castello Plan.
“It’s the most exciting show in our hometown,” Nick Panken told the Brooklyn Daily Eagle recently.
The show starts at 6:30pm, with doors at 5:30pm. It’s free, with a $3 suggested donation.
