Southside Named One Of Brooklyn’s Best Coffee Shops

It’s been a great week for local coffee shops. First, Cafe Grumpy (7th Avenue, between 11th and 12th Street) made Grub Street’s roundup of 58 Most Extraordinary Coffee Shops in America, and now Southside (6th Avenue at 19th Street) lands on Brooklyn Magazine’s list of Best Coffee Bars in the borough.

We’ve always had a soft spot for Southside. From the friendly vibe created by owner Josh Sidis to the fact that you can accessorize your delicious cup of coffee with a pastry from Lot 2 (yum), it’s just a solid neighborhood destination. Congratulations, Southside!
