Don’t wait until this weekend for a little neighborhood fun! Here’s a few of the events that are happening in our area through Wednesday:

Open Mic Night
When: Tuesday, February 18, 8pm
Where: Supercollider, 609 4th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets
What: Ready to show your stuff? It’s open mic night at Supercollider. Signup starts at 7:30pm and continues throughout the night. Each performer can sing up to three songs or have 15 minutes of stage time. If you’re just looking to enjoy some local talent, Happy Hour runs from 5pm to 8pm, and then 12am to 1am.
How much: Free

Trivia At The Monro
When: Tuesday, February 18, 8:30pm
Where: The Monro Pub, 481 5th Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets
What: Feel like a bit of trivia? Get the to The Monro Pub. It’s $1 to play, winner takes all, plus there are a number of other fantabulous prizes awarded throughout the game.
How much: $1 to play.

Bullsh*t History
When: Tuesday, February 18, 9:30pm
Where: Freddy’s, 627 5th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets
What: Are you a master of BS? Make your way to Freddy’s Tuesday night for Bullsh*t History, where participants competitively talk their way through little known historical events.
How much: Free

President’s Week In Prospect Park
When: February 17 – February 21
Where: Prospect Park Lefferts House and Audubon Center
What: Looking for fun and adventures with the kids this week? Make your way to Prospect Park, where they have everything from lip balm making and family bird watching at the Audubon Center to historic game play at Lefferts House. For a complete list of activities and times, visit the Prospect Park website.
How much: Audubon activities are free, but there is a $3 suggested donation to Lefferts Historic House.

Knitting and Crocheting Class
When: Wednesday, February 19, 4pm to 5pm
Where: Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue at 6th Avenue
What: If you’ve ever had the urge to leave yarn bombs around Brooklyn, join neighbors for a free knitting and crochet class at Park Slope Library Wednesday.
How much: Free
