Hoping to spruce up your apartment with some new furniture? Before you go to IKEA, you may want to scope out some new-to-you stuff at some local stoop sales. See below for where you should be if you’re hoping to find a deal.

Where: 15th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues
When: Saturday, June 6, 9-11am
What: This one’s for the early birds because they plan to be done before noon, but this sale will have lots of kids stuff available, including games, toys and some really great books.

Where: 194 17th Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues
When: Saturday, June 6, 9am-5pm
What: This sale has everything: vinyl albums, antique furnishings, Star Trek cards and videos, a brass trombone, McCoy pottery, Christmas stuff, 1930s lighting, a camel doorstop, picture frames, all sorts of kitchen accessories, and “tons of Frank Sinatra and Pat Benatar.”

Where: 70 Prospect Park Southwest, between 10th and 11th Avenues
When: Saturday, June 6, 10am-1pm
What: If you are in the market for some serious apartment furniture, this sale is for you. This sale has two working air conditioners, a working washer and gas dryer, a queen size bed and frame, four dining room chairs, and two ceiling fans.

Where: 292 17th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues
When: Saturday, June 6 & Sunday, June 7, 9am-5pm
What: Do you need to furnish an entire home? Because that’s what’s available at this sale, including leather couches, table and chairs, dishes and more.

Where: 90 Sherman Street, between 11th Avenue and Terrace Place
When: Saturday, June 6 & Sunday, June 7, 10am-4pm
What: This seller just cleaned out their grandmother’s attic, and, boy, was there some good stuff hiding in there. This sale boasts costume jewelry, a 14K Camphor glass pendant, a Tiffany & Co bracelet, porcelain vases, a vintage wooden bear, glassware, and other antiques.
