If you’re in the market for a new rental, you’ve come to the right place! We found four area homes that include everything from custom closets and central air conditioning, to built-ins and laundry rooms. Best of all, each property has outdoor space. Check out the details below:

17th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues
Price: $2,300
Size: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom
Available: Now
Details: It’s a little tough to tell from the pictures, but it almost looks like the refrigerator in this parlor-level home is in the living room. That might not be such a horrible thing — won’t have to leave the room for a beer — but it is a bit unusual. It’s certainly not a deal breaker, though, especially when you see the large deck that sits off the kitchen. Also look for dark hardwoods throughout and lots of natural light.

613 40th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues
Price: $2,300
Size: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
Available: Now
Details: No need to call out the border patrol — we know this is not South Slope — but if you’re looking for a bit more space, neighboring Sunset Park might be worth a look-see. Also on the parlor level, the home boasts a number of upgrades that would cost a pretty penny in South Slope, such as central air conditioning. The kitchen has been recently renovated, and has a ton of cupboard and counter space, and you’ve got outdoor space in the front and back of the home. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed, so if you have a furry friend, this won’t be the place for you.

298 15th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues
Price: $2,550
Size: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
Available: Now
Details: We’re not going to lie, the inside of the place is nothing to write home about. Judging by the pictures, it’s cramped, kinda dark, and looks like it could use a little TLC. That said, the backyard definitely gives some much needed bonus points to the home. If you have a knack for fixer uppers, check this one out.

458 7th Avenue, between 15th and 16th Streets
Price: $3,000
Size: 1.5 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms
Available: Now
Details: Last, but certainly not least, is an updated garden apartment with exclusive access to the back patio. The rental is more expensive than our previous properties, but it does include in-unit laundry, built-ins, custom closets, and a bonus office/small bedroom space. The building itself includes common storage, and is pet-friendly.
