Silver Alert: Man With Alzheimer’s Missing From Brighton Beach

Update 7/12: The missing has been located and is safe, according to cops.

Cops have issued a Silver Alert for a Brighton Beach man with Alzheimer’s who has been missing since yesterday morning.

82-year-old Victor Kruglyak, from Brightwater Court, was last seen at 10am on Monday, July 10 at the corner of Corbin Place and Oriental Boulevard.

He is described by police as a white man, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a medium build and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt, brown shorts, and a blue baseball cap.

Cops say that Kruglyak has Alzheimer’s and dementia and may be in need of medical attention.

Anyone with information in regards to the missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.

Cops also say to call 911 if you see Kruglyak.
