Shots Fired In Crown Heights Struck An Unoccupied Vehicle, Police Say

CROWN HEIGHTS – Police are searching for the individuals who shot up a car on the streets of Crown Heights earlier this month.

Just before 1:00 am on Sunday, October 1, three armed individuals bailed out of a car near 1476 Prospect Place, then fired off several rounds into the night. Those gunshots struck a parked car, said police. Luckily, the vehicle was unoccupied.

The individuals then fled the street in a dark sedan, possibly a Honda, said police. Surveillance video from just before the incident can be seen below:

So far, there is no information about the intent of the gunfire.
