Severe Thunderstorm, Flash Flood Warnings For Brooklyn, Queens

Well, when it rains it pours, folks. And it’s about to pour.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until 3:15 p.m. for Queens and Brooklyn, and a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:30 p.m. for Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.

According to the National Weather Service’s website, a “weak low pressure trough will linger over the region today and help trigger scattered to numerous thunderstorms into this evening. The trough will then pass to the east late Wednesday night.”

Let’s hope it washes away some of this humidity, and sets us up for a nice weekend.
