There’s some new pizza in town, and it goes by the name of Padrino.
Owner Marcello Pascal tells us that the new restaurant, located at 450 5th Avenue, is striving to resurrect the Brooklyn pizzerias of old, by bringing classic, quality pies to the neighborhood.
In addition to traditional pizzas, salads and heros, they have an intriguing dessert called the Nutella Lovers Pie, that comes with a sprinkling of powdered sugar, and your choice of fresh strawberries, bananas or marshmallows. Yes, please.
