Save the Date: Bay Fest is this Sunday
SHEEPSHEAD BAY – Bayfest, the free, family-friendly South Brooklyn festival, is back this Sunday, May 20!
The popular event is organized by the Bay Improvement Group and attracts thousands of Brooklynites every single year. Emmons Avenue will be transformed into a festival with two main stages for music, the main lineup will include Metropolis, The Vince Martell Band, and Flight of Sound.
The fun event kicks off at noon and lasts until 6 pm. It spans several blocks on the waterfront and is filled with bouncy castles, arts and craft stations, and raffles. The weather is expected to be great this Sunday, unlike last year when there were gusting winds and grey skies.
Kids will also be having plenty of fun getting their faces painted and dancing along to the live music. Hungry? Grab a snack from the various stalls or sit down to eat at a restaurant nearby.
