CAMBA’s Healthy Way 5k is scheduled for Sunday, May 5. The 9am run/walk around Prospect Park will benefit 45,000 people in need of the organization’s services, which include helping to feed low income New Yorkers, connecting families with affordable housing, providing educational resources for Brooklyn youth, and advocating for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

A $25 entry fee gains you a souvenir t-shirt. Businesses can also get their logo or group name on the event t-shirts, as well as a code for 10 free runners, with a $500 team sponsorship. The top three male and female runners will also receive awards. Either way, it’s a wonderful way to help others, spend a day in the park, and burn off all those margaritas you plan on drinking later in the day.

Register for CAMBA’s Healthy Way 5k on the organization’s website, or contact CAMBA Communications Associate Jonathan Berk for details.
