Reminder: PSA 3 Housing Police Community Council Meeting Is This Wednesday

UPDATE: FYI The meeting has been CANCELLED “due to unforeseen events at the Job Corps building” where it is usually held. The next meeting will be December 2, at 585 DeKalb Avenue.

In the meantime, there will also be a NYCHA/police meeting next Tuesday, December 10 at Ingersoll Community Center, where you can bring questions and concerns, as well.

With public safety and youth safety concerns increasing, now would be a good time for more residents to attend a monthly meeting of the NYPD’s Police Service Area 3 (PSA 3) — housing police assigned to cover public housing developments at Farragut, Ingersoll, Whitman, Lafayette Gardens, Marcy-Tompkins, and others.

The next meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday, November 4) at 7pm at 585 DeKalb Avenue, right off of Nostrand Avenue.

It’s a chance to meet the officers, ask questions, hear their updates and enforcement plans, and network with other community leaders and residents.
